Since July marks Woodbury’s ‘green’ issue, it’s only fitting that butters&beans kids, an eco-friendly, fashionable infant line, is opening its storefront this month in Woodbury.
Although the online retailer is officially opening its doors Thursday, July 21, the grand-opening celebration is a day later, Friday, July 22, from 4-8 p.m. That’s when the action will take over the new venue at 9100 Hudson Road Ste. 114, as locally-famed musician Tim Mahoney is scheduled to perform (5-7 p.m.). Those in attendance will also be treated to cupcakes from Grandma Lucy’s Bakery and other various giveaways.
The store will feature the local butters&beans fashion line of sustainable clothing and accessories, as well as other local designers including Pop Frocks apparel and TootyFruityMonkeyLuv hair accessories. Products from nationally known designers such as aden+anais, Tea Collection, and Isobella & Chloe will also be on the racks.
“I’m excited to open this storefront because I can’t wait to meet my clients, be a part of their lives, and watch their children grow,” says Ann Evans, owner and founder of butters&beans kids. “I came from a retail background and am excited to get back in a store as well as offer the opportunity to other local designers.”
Not only will the grand opening provide an evening of entertainment; the fun will also be for a good cause. A portion of the grand opening’s proceeds will be donated to The Autism Society of Minnesota.
