The 2015 BIZAA Founder’s Gala will be held on Friday, November 13, 2015 at the Minneapolis Marriott Northwest in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. A cocktail reception kicks-off the event at 5:30 p.m. This year’s Founder’s Gala will offer a cash bar and signature African cocktail, an African inspired dinner, entertainment by Duniya African Drum and Dance Troupe and a silent auction. NEW this year is a live auction with professional auctioneer Emily Engberg. Get ready to bid on a variety of fun items – Medina Country Club round of golf for four, a one-week summer vacation in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, an African dinner for ten prepared by a local chef, a Buona Sera dinner prepared table-side for four by Chef Raffaele, a US Flag flown over the State Capitol, and a USA Inflatables Moon Walk, plus wonderful themed baskets and more!

The Founder’s Gala is named in honor of Okey Anyanwu, BIZAA’s Founder and President. Okey had the foresight and vision to organize BIZAA , a non-profit dedicated to rescuing victims of child labor and child trafficking in Africa and getting them off the streets and into classrooms.
