Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf (CCEFS) hosts its annual Connecting Community Breakfast this month. A $25 ticket includes breakfast and a seat at the table to watch keynote speaker Mark Scharenbroich, an Emmy winner who will share his story, “Nice Bike,” an inspiring tale about connecting with others (a fitting theme for an event that’s all about supporting neighbors, especially over a meal).

Bring your family or a group of co-workers along for breakfast, and show your support for the food shelf, which serves Woodbury and other east metro residents who are food insecure. In addition to its brick-and-mortar food shelf on the grounds of Guardian Angels Church in Oakdale, CCEFS has a mobile food shelf program and other initiatives to help end hunger. Gather to have your heart (and tummy) filled.
