Valley Creek Mall has acquired a sense of style since Crafty Chicks on the Loose moved in last spring. Motivation behind the business’ move to Woodbury was simple. “We wanted to get more space,” says Diana Boxmeyer Berg, owner of Crafty Chicks, who adds that the move came with another benefit—more foot traffic.
Extra space was necessary because the store is a hub for all things crafty, serving as a studio, a market and a classroom. The larger space gives the teachers at Crafty Chicks more room to teach classes. Jewelry making, knitting, crocheting and sewing are some of the technical classes that are taught at the store. All classes are offered for adults and children.
Crafty Chicks is now able to house more vendors and consigners, featuring handmade items for a variety of shoppers. Patrons of the store will also enjoy the benefits of the expanded customized projects, such as water bottle wrappers, that Crafty Chicks offers.
