King of Kings Lutheran Church will be the host site for dozens of volunteers to help distribute toys to families of the Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf, an organization that provides critical resources to families in crisis. Lisa Engh, board chair of Christian Cupboard, says the biggest need this year is toys. “Christmas is just this special time where families come together, celebrate and share together,” Engh says. “We want to give them the opportunity to do that and to allow children to feel valued and blessed over the holiday season.”
Help King of Kings make this vision come true by bringing in donations of new toys (with values under $30) to the church by 1 p.m. on December 13. 1583 Radio Drive.
