O’Halloran & Murphy Funeral Services opens its fourth location in Woodbury

Since Patrick O’Halloran opened his first funeral parlor in St. Paul in 1876, the O’Halloran family has strived to carry on his legacy. “We take care of everybody in the community,” says John O’Halloran, funeral director and Patrick’s great-grand-nephew. Woodbury welcomed O’Halloran & Murphy Funeral Services in July with the grand opening of its fourth location on Valley Creek Road. The new facility will provide traditional funeral services and more innovative amenities, including a special room for children who attend services and a multi-use community space. The décor is also warm and inviting, says Michael O’Halloran. “We opened up the lobby to provide sunlight…and we wanted to use colors that people would find in their homes.
