Celebrating the Classics with Woodbury Community Theatre

Woodbury Community Theatre brings back Stars on Broadway for its third production.
Stars on Broadway returns to Woodbury Community Theatre.

Woodbury Community Theatre is all about show tunes in its third rendition of Stars on Broadway. According to operations director Michelle Witte, the “stars” theme fits perfectly with the idea of Woodbury community “star” performers. She emphasizes the unique family-friendly aspect of the production. “We have a lot of parents and children performing together; going to rehearsal is a fun, family night out,” she says.

This musical revue show, directed by Lori Sager, will feature selections from everyone’s favorite Broadway shows; the focus this year is on shows and songs from Disney. “It’s a great chance to bring the whole family out. There will be lots of classics,” Witte says.
