This month, the Woodbury Lions Club is hosting its 39th annual community garage sale. Last year, folks came from all over the Twin Cities to shop at more than 600 registered garage sales. Proceeds from the sale are put toward the community for purchasing eyeglasses and hearing aids for people in need, supporting the Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf and much more. “The city of Woodbury officially sponsors us and local businesses get behind it. It’s a true community event,” says Lions Club member and garage sale co-chair Chris Holthe.
