Energizing Your Inner Cyclist

CycleBar Premium Indoor Cycling opens new franchise.

“We wanted to bring something to the Twin Cities area that was fresh, new and exciting for all ages,” says Craig Holm, who owns the new CycleBar Woodbury franchise with his wife, Marilyn. Adds their daughter, general manager Mackenzie Holm, “I’ve been an athlete my whole life and I’ve always cycled; I think people are going to fall in love with [CycleBar] just as much as I did.”

Woodbury is a great athletic community and the Holms felt that a boutique cycling studio was just what residents needed. “There are several gyms and yoga and pilates studios; that shows that people want to be active and healthy,” Mackenzie says. CycleBar’s 50-minute classes, led by energetic instructors called CycleStars, follow upbeat, high-energy music. —JE
