The tastiest event in Woodbury this month might just be Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf’s annual Chili Hubbub. Families, including young kids, are invited to spend an afternoon tasting chili (you guessed it) and other comfort-food offerings—mac and cheese, anyone?—from local restaurants. Call it a chili scavenger hunt; try them all, and decide which is your favorite. The Rotary Club of Woodbury hosts its annual gala this month, focusing on giving back to the community and raising funds for local youth programs. This event is particularly timely for those of us who might still need to make plans for a Valentine’s Day night out—it’s just the right amount of glitz and glitter, combined with a philanthropic mission, for a holiday all about love.
