The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train will stop at Union Depot on Tuesday, December 10 for a musical performance. Attendees are encouraged to bring cash or a healthy food donation to benefit local food shelves. Feline Rescue, Inc. volunteers are offering free nail clippings for cats and kittens from 11:00 PM - 12:30 PM at the Woodbury Chuck & Don's.  For their safety, all cats and kittens should be transported in carriers.  Donations are very much appreciated for the care of Feline Rescue shelter and foster cats. Christian Cupboard Emergency Food Shelf (CCEFS) hosts its annual Connecting Community Breakfast this month. A $25 ticket includes breakfast and a seat at the table to watch keynote speaker Mark Scharenbroich, an Emmy winner who will share his story, “Nice Bike,” an inspiring tale about connecting with others (a fitting theme for an event that’s all about supporting neighbors, especially over a meal). Earn your stripes and join the Minnesota Zoo for their annual Tiger Tracks 5K to raise money for wildlife conservation. The race starts at the Shady Oaks Picnic area and follows a course through the zoo on outdoor trails.
