Operation Kidsafe Child Safety Event

Join Delmonico Dance, local law enforcement, first responders and Operation Kidsafe for a free child safety fair. There will be an ice cream truck for the kids.  Parents will receive a lifetime record of their child's digital fingerprints and a form that is ready to hand to law enforcement in an emergency, as well as valuable safety tips. Woodbury Lions Club Garage Sale

Every year the Woodbury Lions Club raises money for educational programs and people with sight and hearing impairments through a community garage sale. Woodbury residents scour their belongings for unwanted and unneeded items, and pick up some new treasures from their neighbors. Directories with location details can be purchased the night before the sale at multiple locations including Kowalski’s, Rainbow, Cub, Woodbury BP and more. State Arbor Month Celebration and Minnesota Tree Climbing Championships

This year the DNR is celebrating Arbor Day and Arbor Month by encouraging families to play in natural settings such as your backyard, a nearby woodlot, or forested area.

The 2014 State Arbor Month Celebration will be at Oak Hill Park in St. Louis Park. The event will give families a chance to play with nature, while watching some of the best tree climbers in the state compete at the Minnesota Tree Climbing Championship.

Primrose Spring Fling Family Fundraiser

Join Primrose School of Woodbury on for the annual Spring Fling fundraiser. Primrose is hosting a day of educational activities that will have you and your child learning and having fun, while also raising donations for a great cause. Families attending can enjoy create and take activities, inflatable obstacle course, face-painting, photo booth, gardening, lunch and more. Free parking is available on-site, and street-side. Woodbury Community Foundation Spring Gala

The Woodbury Community Foundation celebrates 10 years of serving the city of Woodbury with a fundraising gala that goes beyond the typical dinner and auction. The event will feature a walk-through photo display of the city’s history, interactive historical performance vignettes courtesy of the Woodbury Community Theatre, and a sit-down dinner. Guests will get to take home a commemorative photo book that illustrates the history of Woodbury, starting with its establishment in the 1840s. $125/person. 6 p.m. reception, 7 p.m. dinner/program. Each year, the Woodbury Chamber of Commerce partners with local businesses of all shapes and sizes in an expo fashion. The event is celebrating its fifth year in 2014 and is the largest business expo in the East Metro.
