We are all experiencing unprecedented, difficult times. According to the World Health Organization, the rate of suicide has doubled since the onset of Covid-19, increasing from the rate of 1 person every 45 seconds to 1 person every 20 seconds globally.

The good news is that suicide is preventable and you can help! Join Tara Dahlager, LICSW and Renee Penticoff for this important suicide prevention training called QPR and learn three steps to help save a life. Check out QPR here: qprinstitute.com. Please join us to learn how to ask hard questions, how to persuade an at-risk person to get help and how to refer them to appropriate resources.

The virtual training is limited to 35 attendees, 18 years and older and intended for community members in the eastern metro of Mpls./St. Paul, sponsored by the Suicide Prevention Collaborative in collaboration with Woodbury Thrives.
