Along with the leaves changing color and falling to the ground, fall is bringing some new fashion trends. Top picks from Heidi Martin, owner of Sisu boutique in Woodbury, include lots of plaid, faux fur, ponchos and vegan leather. “Sometimes they even throw it all together,” Martin says, noting that Sisu will be adding a poncho with vegan leather trim to its fall inventory. Though graphic tees have always been popular, graphic prints will start to show up on sweaters and sweatshirts this season. As far as pants go? “Skinny jeans are not going anywhere, but flares are making a comeback,” Martin says.
