Fine-tune Driving Skills at Central Park

Minnesota Highway Safety certified instructor teaches a popular driver safety course.

Central Park is hosting the Driver Improvement Program, sponsored by the city of Woodbury and coordinated by the Minnesota Highway Safety and Research Center of St. Cloud State University. The program requires first-time participants to complete two 4-hour sessions, and repeat participants must, in addition, take a 4-hour refresher course. And there are definitely benefits to the program: participants over the age of 55 who complete the course will qualify for a 10 percent discount on their auto insurance premiums for three years, according to Minnesota law.
