Pet Parent Question:
“I know my dog needs a bath, but how often should I bathe him?”
Use warm water, and a doggy-specific shampoo. Be sure to rinse thoroughly so soap buildup doesn’t cause itchiness. Dogs can air-dry in warmer weather. Dogs with hair should be dried with a doggie dryer to prevent matting. Reward your dog with a fun treat. You can determine how often you groom your dog with input from your groomer and your pocketbook (every four to six weeks is a good ballpark to start with). A clean dog often means a happy pet parent.
