Kids Head to the Greens with Summer Golf Programs

Summer is the perfect time for kids to learn the sport of golf or take their skills to a new level.

Eagle Valley Golf Course and Prestwick Golf Club offer some great programs to get your kids
driving and putting.

Eagle Valley Golf Course
The First Tee of the Twin Cities program is offered at Eagle Valley with three levels of instruction: bogey (ages 5-7), par (ages 8-12) and birdie (ages 12-17). Eagle Valley offers golf camps for groups ages 8-12, running for two hours Monday-Thursday, as well as a 9-hole junior league for golfers ages 10-17 beginning June 13 with 10 weeks of competition.

Prestwick Golf Club
Prestwick offers its junior camp program teaching the basics of golf and golf etiquette for groups ages 5-7, 8-10 and 11-13. There are four sessions, with the first beginning June 12. The camp includes a golf fun day with a few holes on the course, contests on the range and putting greens, prizes and more. Prestwick’s junior league, open to golfers ages 12-18, plays Thursday mornings.
