Local Cleaner Works with Nonprofit to Provide Free House Tidying for Cancer Patients

Lynn Thoele, owner of local business Sparkle Plenty Cleaners, works with a nonprofit, Cleaning For A Reason, to offer free house cleaning for women undergoing cancer treatment in Woodbury, St. Paul and the surrounding area. Thoele and her team want to remove stressful housework, so that women facing cancer can focus on what’s truly important: their health. Since learning about the organization last September, Thoele and her team have done 12 cleanings, including at the Woodbury home of Tracy McGarry. “It’s such a gift to be able to do something kind for another human being,” Thoele says.
