Over the past 20 years, Woodbury has tripled in size. With attractions like Cabela’s and the new Bielenberg Sports Center, the number of people coming through the city is growing, too. “Woodbury is becoming a destination,” says Nathan Keech of Keech Media, the creator of MyWoodburyMN.com, and his site is making that reality all the more real.
MyWoodburyMN.com is a one-stop site for everything you could want or need in the city. The homepage prompts you to tell it what you’re looking for: food, entertainment, shopping or hotels. Each of these categories will link you to every listed business in the area, providing their address and contact information. The site’s easy to navigate, and operates just like an app when accessed from a phone. It’s an instant Woodbury wonderland.
While it’s helpful for those who don’t know Woodbury, the site is also looking to engage with residents as well. “People are social. We’re working on increasing local participation by working with businesses and also having a Facebook and Instagram presence,” Keech says. As one of its recent efforts, the site worked with the Hilton Garden Inn to sponsor a “Staycation” campaign, prompting participants to post pictures to social media of the posters hung in various Woodbury locations for a chance to win a “Staycation” package.
Whether we have guests in town or we’re not sure what we’re hungry for, we’re sure to see more of MyWoodburyMN.com. Check out the site for yourself, and follow it on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with the latest local happenings.
