Based on the book by Dr. Gary Chapman, this presentation will help you identify your own primary love language (quality time, words of affirmation, gifts, acts of service or physical touch) as well as your significant other’s. $15 per person, plus $10 for significant other. 6:30-8 p.m. October 3. East Ridge High School, 4200 Pioneer Drive.

2. Spiralizing Healthy Meals
“Spiralize” vegetables such as beets, carrots and zucchini by using a machine that cuts them into long strips you can use instead of pasta or rice. You’ll make and sample four recipes. $49. 6-9 p.m. October 24. East Ridge High School, 4200 Pioneer Drive.

3. Water Walking
This popular new activity for adults during school hours involves walking a route in the deep end of the pool while using form supports. Lap swim will also be offered at this time. Drop in $3.
