After a honey extraction demonstration at the Minnesota State Fair, Oakdale’s Mandy Dobosenski knew exactly what she needed to do with her all-natural luxury skincare line: incorporate at least one “bee power” ingredient into each product.
“The beekeeper explained to the crowd that many cultures have used raw honey and propolis for centuries as a natural remedy for cuts, wounds and other skin ailments, long before traditional antibiotics ever existed,” Dobosenski says.
From acne spot treatment to lip balm and deodorant, her brand BeeNaturalz offers an array of natural products with beeswax, honey, pollen and other ingredients sourced locally.
