Owner of Angelina’s Kitchen Opens Coffee and Ice Cream Shop in Central Park

Angelina’s expands to Central Park with pasta, ice cream and more.
Angelina’s in the Park offers a variety of food and beverage options, including fresh salads, paninis and desserts.

Fans of Angelina’s Kitchen, Woodbury’s popular Italian bistro and wine bar, can now indulge in offerings at the restaurant’s new coffee and ice cream shop in Central Park. The spin-off restaurant, aptly named Angelina’s in the Park, replaces the Cups ‘n Scoops ice cream stand, offering Cedar Crest ice cream from Wisconsin along with an assortment of quick, convenient choices for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The menu features a selection of salads, fresh fruit, healthful smoothies, pasta bowls, paninis and wraps, plus desserts like tiramisu and banana bread pudding.

Surrounded by a spacious park and a variety of attractions including the YMCA, library and amphitheater, Angelina’s new location is both accessible and beautiful. For owner Angela Verrastro, the decision to expand to Central Park was a no-brainer. “I just thought it was a great opportunity for us to serve the community in a different location,” she says. “We’re just thrilled to be here.”
