The transition from one home to the next often presents challenges. The city of Woodbury houses several senior home options for those looking to move. In addition to Applewood Pointe, Cobble Hill Apartments, Prelude of Woodbury, Stonecrest, Views at City Walk, Woodbury Estates, Woodbury Senior Living and Woodbury Villas, a new facility—Saint Therese—is planned in the city.
Construction breaks ground at Saint Therese this spring, with an opening date set for spring 2015. The facility will offer a full continuum of care services including independent living, assisted living, memory and transitional care, and a 24-hour skilled nursing care center. “St. Therese has a very strong focus on wellness, which is a big part of living in this community,” says Saint Therese leasing advisor Angela Regan. (The welcome center is currently open at 2165 Woodlane Drive.)
