State-of-the-Art Living for Seniors
Red Rock Senior Living breaks ground in Woodbury.
A new senior living facility has planted roots in the Woodbury community. Red Rock Senior Living broke ground in August and will be located just west of I-494 on Century Avenue. The 75,873-square-foot, state-of-the-art facility will feature 38 independent and assisted living units (plus one guest suite), 32 memory care apartments and six care suites. Seniors at any stage can call Red Rock Senior Living home, and will be able to stay in the same apartment even as their needs change over time. Additionally, there are no entrance fees, and apartments can be leased on a month-to-month basis, helping to take some of the hassle out of the moving process for families.
Red Rock will be operated and managed by Ebenezer Management Services. “Red Rock Senior Living will provide a great community, not only for the seniors who will live there, but it also adds a strong employer to the city, as well as a place to volunteer and visit,” says Susan Farr, vice president of new businesses development at Ebenezer. Red Rock Senior Living is expected to open in late June 2015. —Rachel Wilson
