Stride and Glide Guide

Woodbury offers numerous options for outdoor skating fun.
Jamie and Erin Stevens enjoy ice skating in Woodbury.

There’s a whole lot of ice we’re not happy about: ice on our driveways, ice on our roads, ice hanging off our roofs. Outdoor skating is an opportunity to embrace the ice for a change, and maybe even have a little fun with it. There are five outdoor rinks in Woodbury parks: Kargel, Evergreen West, Ojibway, Colby Lake and Shawnee. All areas have a hockey rink as well as a leisure rink, and an inviting warming house where skaters can stay toasty.
