Woodbury Chef Fest Details from “Bart Chestman”

We have the lowdown on this year’s Woodbury Community Foundation fundraiser, straight from the host himself.
Bart Chestman (aka Eric Rislove) with Angelo Montes, chef and owner of Sole Mio Ristorante in Woodbury.

The Woodbury Community Foundation’s annual fundraiser has a new twist this year. The October 30 event, Woodbury Chef Fest, will feature food stations offering various cuisines and culinary delights. The star of the show, Bart Chestman (played by local Eric Rislove), tells us why we simply can’t miss it this year.

Bart, what can you tell us about this upcoming event?

As an infamous game show host who’s hosted events and game shows around the world, I can tell you, unequivocally, that this will be an event for the ages. Great food, great chefs, great fun, great prizes, great community. Oh, and, great host! How can you beat that?

“Chef Fest” is the theme; what kind of things can we expect that are chef-themed?

The Woodbury Community Foundation is partnering with the American Culinary Federation and Prom Center to have a number of chefs from around the region preparing their finest fares and specialty dishes. I’ve hosted food and cooking game shows across the country, but I’ve never been more excited for the delicious dishes we can expect at this event.

What else would you like to tell us about this upcoming fundraiser?

This will be an event that folks will not want to miss. After hosting Woodbury Does a Deal for the past two years, I can say that Woodbury has some of the best audiences of all the game shows I’ve hosted. I know they’ll want to attend this terrific event which benefits the Woodbury Community Foundation.
