Woodbury Community Theatre performs the epic tale on the Loft Stage.
Cast members include local residents Lisa Cressy (inkeeper's wife), Joe Houser (Joly), Robert Fischer (Jean Valjean) and Katherine Spicuzza (Eponine).

Based on Victor Hugo’s French historical novel of broken dreams, passion and redemption, Les Misérables comes to town as Woodbury Community Theatre performs the international award- winning musical. Directed by Lenore Weir, the production transports the audience to 19th-century France, when prisoner 24601, Jean Valjean, is released from 19 years of unjust imprisonment. Upon being released, he finds nothing in store for him but mistrust and mistreatment. He breaks his parole in hopes of starting a new life, initiating a life-long struggle for redemption.

Valjean begins his new life, but his past continuously comes for him as he is relentlessly pursued by police inspector Javert, who refuses to believe Valjean can change his ways. The audience will experience the emotional wallop that Les Misérables has brought to audiences all over the world.
