Relay for Life

Raise money for cancer research and honor victims and survivors with the American Cancer Society Relay for Life, an organized, overnight community fundraising walk. Start a relay team and take turns walking around the track at East Ridge High School. When it isn’t your turn to walk, take advantage of the food, games and activities provided. If starting or joining a team isn’t an option for you, you can walk as an individual or walk the survivor lap. $10. 6 p.m. Read more about Relay for Life

Cody's Dash

This year marks the fourth annual Cody's Dash for Down Syndrome to benefit GiGi's Playhouse! Get moving for a great cause. Sign up for a 5K run/walk, a 1-mile walk, or a kids' dash, followed by an afternoon of big fun: music, face painting, food trucks, balloons and more.

All proceeds will benefit GiGi's Playhouse and the free programs and services they provide to the Down syndrome community throughout the Twin Cities.  Read more about Cody's Dash

Primrose Spring Fling Family Fundraiser

Join Primrose School of Woodbury on for the annual Spring Fling fundraiser. Primrose is hosting a day of educational activities that will have you and your child learning and having fun, while also raising donations for a great cause. Families attending can enjoy create and take activities, inflatable obstacle course, face-painting, photo booth, gardening, lunch and more. Free parking is available on-site, and street-side. Valley Crossing 5K Run/Walk

Valley Crossing Community School hosts its fourth annual 5K fundraising race. After taking a lap around Colby Lake, head into the school cafeteria for face painting, bouncy houses and free food. This year sees the addition of a wellness fair. Woodbury Community Foundation Spring Gala

The Woodbury Community Foundation celebrates 10 years of serving the city of Woodbury with a fundraising gala that goes beyond the typical dinner and auction. The event will feature a walk-through photo display of the city’s history, interactive historical performance vignettes courtesy of the Woodbury Community Theatre, and a sit-down dinner. Guests will get to take home a commemorative photo book that illustrates the history of Woodbury, starting with its establishment in the 1840s. $125/person. 6 p.m. reception, 7 p.m. dinner/program. Gott Faith Benefit

On February 27, Violet Gott was born nearly three months early, via emergency c-section. Due to the extent of care required, the Gott family, of Woodbury, accrued a staggering amount of medical bills. The Gott Faith Benefit will honor Dustin and Julie Gott with all proceeds going directly to offsetting the family's hospital bills. Read more about Gott Faith Benefit

Library Book Sale

Searching for a new read? This month, the library is selling not new books per se, but they can be new to you. Peruse its collection of gently-used hardcover and paperback books as well as CDs and DVDs. Give back to the library and expand your collection simultaneously. New Life Academy Gala & Auction

With a patriotic flair, New Life Academy’s largest fundraising event of the year hits the school’s auditorium. The event includes a dinner and silent and live auctions. Bid on prizes such as a seven-night stay in Maui, a Joe Mauer-autographed jersey and a 16GB iPad. The First Tee Gala

The First Tee incorporates nine core values, including patience and sportsmanship, that every child should learn through. These are all taught on the greens. Join The First Tee to raise funds for the Woodbury branch so that they can continue to educate young golfers.
