Four years ago, Janet Campbell moved to Woodbury from Minnetonka to be near her two grandchildren and, of course, their parents. “I always have my camer,a and I take photos all the time, especially of my grandkids, Cassie and Joshua,” Campbell says. “Last July on a hot day, they were both playing in the kiddie pool in my driveway when I noticed Cassie dunking her head and then whipping her hair around. I thought I could stop action at 1600 ISO and after a couple of shots, I got it just right.” Campbell has been photographing since she was a teenager. She says, “I loved film photography, but when digital came on the scene, I changed over and never looked back. It’s so much fun.” In addition to her grandchildren, Campbell enjoys taking photos of nature. “I’m enjoying living in Woodbury and have found many photo opportunities in our parks, farmland, ponds, birds and lovely sunrises and sunsets,” she says.
