Starting her tenure this fall as the new activities director at East Ridge High School, Sara Palodichuk is focusing on helping all students feel connected and fostering a sense of belonging in the activities they choose. The hope, Palodichuk says, is to “help them develop important life skills, such as being responsible, striving for excellence, learning from mistakes and failure, helping others succeed, overcoming adversity, and being a contributing member of a team or community.”

Previously the principal of Middleton Elementary School, Palodichuk says one of the reasons she got her administrative degree was to become an athletic/activities director. She says she’s looking forward to building relationships within the ERHS community as the year goes on.
