Come May in Woodbury, the ice is out, the grass is green and the trees are coming into full bloom as spring replaces winter. Bu sometimes Mother Nature plays tricks on us.
“I am sure everyone remembers that last winter ended on May 2, when we had snow,” Ilya Kravchik says. “This photo, taken at Seasons Parkway, was my attempt to make lemonade out of the lemons that nature was serving up. With no spring in sight, I decided to just go out and photograph the snowy landscape. It felt very surreal with birds singing around me and the sun high in the sky.”
