We have now surpassed the coldest season of the year and are firmly in the midst of spring, which means a celebration is in order. And what better way to celebrate spring than the time-honored tradition of the egg hunt? The City of Woodbury is hosting various egg hunts at the Ojibway Park playground on April 9. The event also has arts and crafts, plus an opportunity to take pictures with the spring bunny. Elizabeth Owens, recreation program specialist, says, “The playground egg hunts are a fantastic opportunity for little ones to enjoy an egg hunt with a smaller group in a fun atmosphere of the playground.” Bring your loved ones, and make the most of the refreshing spring weather.
The festivities will take place at 9:30 a.m. on April 9. The event is recommended for children ages 1–6. Tickets are $6. Pre-registration is encouraged as the event traditionally sells out.
