College Plans?
Major in chemistry; follow a pre-medicine track to become a pediatric physical therapist. I’m spending most of my school days at the University of Minnesota as a PSEO student. I love it at the U of M . . . so that’s somewhere I’d love to go. I’ve also looked at the University of Texas at Austin . . . it might be too hot down there for me!

Advice for other high school students?

Definitely do PSEO and take accelerated AP or CIS classes. I enjoy that I’m able to get the college experience before I graduate high school . . . and I’m learning to manage my time wisely; that’s my greatest challenge. And get a lot of sleep. Sleep is very important!

Favorite volunteer activities?
I was a tutor for two Somali girls; that was a really good experience. Through NHS, I was able to hand out water for runners at the Twin Cities Marathon. Though it seems like a small thing, it was one of the best things I’ve done.

What do you enjoy most about Woodbury?
I love Woodbury because there are so many friendly communities inside of it.
