For 19 years, Top Ten Liquors in Woodbury has remained a constant resident in its building on Norma Lane. The owners recently acquired adjacent space, so a major remodel was the next step.
Bill Abrahamson, wine expert for Top Ten, says the goal of the remodel was to create a store that shares a consistent look with the rest of Top Ten’s stores and contains space with a logical flow. “This will add more room for special activities, like wine tasting,” he says.
Along with new racks and floors is the addition of more domestic and foreign imports of wine to the already extensive selection that makes the store unique. For Abrahamson, also known as “Bill the wine guy,” wine has been his favorite product to sell for the past 26 years. “Lots of people just get bitten by the bug,” he says. “You just have to start partaking in it and popping corks.”
