Annual Relay for Life event fights to raise awareness and find a cure.

As a community, South Washington County has raised more than $2 million in the fight against cancer, by means of Relay for Life. The overnight event features individuals and teams who camp out at East Ridge High School with the goal of keeping at least one team member on the track at all times. Relay for Life brings together people from all walks of life, all with the purpose of celebrating our cancer survivors, remembering those who have lost the battle, and fighting back against the disease. After all, we all are affected by cancer in some way. All proceeds from the event go to the American Cancer Society for research, access to treatment and prevention programs.
