Woodbury Lakes Renovation

A variety of changes are enhancing the center as an entertainment and shopping destination.

Construction continues this spring at Woodbury Lakes Shopping Center with the addition of Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, a nine-screen, full-service theater with approximately 1,000 luxury recliners and an attached full service bar and restaurant, Vetted Well, featuring 32 local beers on tap. The cinema eatery, known for its unique specialty programming including first-run movies, independent films and special events with an extensive menu made from scratch, makes its Minnesota debut at Woodbury Lakes.

In addition, Woodbury Lakes has built a new space for H&M, using an area that was formerly J. Jill and Archiver’s, plus a portion of the courtyard. (H&M will now be double its size.) “We are creating a dynamic town center focused on the best retailers, restaurants and entertainment uses,” says Laurie Mordorski, marketing manager. “The redevelopment of Main Street, which has been renamed North Star Drive, features upgrades to lighting and landscaping, additional parking and the creation of seating vignettes and entertainment areas.”

The construction is scheduled to be done in June/July, with a grand opening celebration set for fall.
