Nancy Berg fondly recalls a time when photographers had to shoot with film cameras and cartridges—after all, it’s where she got her start as a wildlife photographer.

If walls could talk, the walls of a high school would talk mostly of dreams. Every weekday the halls and classrooms flutter with possibilities, and for a group of students at East Ridge High School in Woodbury, one of these possibilities might start to feel more like reality.

Founded in 1997, Ashland Productions had dreams of starting out as a dinner theater.

Although Fulmek is well-known in Hudson, Wisconsin, as “The Santa Painter”—painting a series on Hudson’s longtime Santa and prints of her work are sold every year at the holidays—it’s actually her love of horses which kicked off her art career and truly remains her passion today.

The glow of stage lights warms excited faces and a sense of purpose settles in bones. With each line spoken crisp and clear, with each note hit and with each costume change, performers are transported to another time and place.

Stars on Broadway returns with its fourth installment, and this time, the show is bringing rock n’ roll.

Woodbury’s own Aleks Knezevich is starring as Danny in the Chanhassen Dinner Theatres’ current production of Grease.  Knezevich, who attended Woodbury High School, decided to join choir his junior year.
