This month, our magazine is full of stories about people making a difference in ways big and small—from state Rep. Stephen Sandell to physician Emily Myer, these Woodbury residents are passionate about giving back.

The Woodbury Chamber held its annual Community Awards Gala in January at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel in St. Paul. In addition to the awards program, the gavel was passed to the new board chair and guests enjoyed dinner, auctions, music and more.

 

In February, Salem Lutheran Church hosted a Chinese New Year event, with a lantern festival, writing Chinese characters, a traditional “reunion meal” and other family-friendly activities.
