In this digital age, it seems the place we love to shop the most is on the couch. From online catalogs to marketplaces and pantry sites like Amazon, many brick-and-mortar stores have seen huge migrations to their online platforms.

The growth of our community has always been shaped and defined by the families who move here.  As Woodbury celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2017, it’s interesting to look back over the city’s growth through the lens of the local public school systems.

Rian Thiele, co-founder of Woodbury’s Pet Evolution, has added a new venture to his plate. Rian and his brother, Randy, first pitched the idea for their new joint business at the February 2016 Minneapolis Home and Garden Show.

After 12 years of managing a successful practice in Hudson, Wis., orthodontist Becky Maher has expanded with an additional location in Woodbury. When Maher began her practice, Hudson was a practical location for providing services while raising her children (she has three daughters).

The Gaming Goat is focused on spreading the love of gaming,” says owner Andy Sherrill, who opened his shop in the Seasons Market Shopping Center in October.

A line of fresh and colorful preppy clothing and accessories has been gaining popularity around town with local students. Behind this new venture is a Woodbury brother and sister team.
