Since Patrick O’Halloran opened his first funeral parlor in St. Paul in 1876, the O’Halloran family has strived to carry on his legacy. “We take care of everybody in the community,” says John O’Halloran, funeral director and Patrick’s great-grand-nephew.
Eagle Brook Church’s Woodbury branch began meeting at East Ridge High School in 2011 and has seen its membership grow from 1,300 to more than 2,300, with the congregation quickly outgrowing its temporary home. “Being in the neighborhood is a big deal,” says executive pastor Scott Anderson.

The Wedgewood homeowners’ association turns 20 years old this summer. Although this planned development dates back to 1984 beginning with construction of Wedgewood (now Prestwick) Golf Course, the homeowner association was incorporated in 1993.
