Golfers teed off June 9 at Prestwick Golf Club for the annual Woodbury Area Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament which raises scholarship funds for local high school seniors.

 

“Totally ‘80s” was the theme for Woodbury High School’s annual cabaret, featuring students from the school’s choir program.

The smell of a new box of Crayolas and the sound of a school bus pulling up to the curb in the early hours: These are the makings of a new school year.

 

Every year, Woodbury Magazine celebrates a few of our accomplished highschool students in these pages: kids who have excelled at their schoolwork, in the arts and on the playing field.

 

As any good glasses wearer knows, choosing a pair of frames isn’t as easy as walking in the door and grabbing something off the shelf.

In August 2004, the first issue of Woodbury Magazine arrived in local homes.

 

Imagine yourself on a September afternoon, sitting up in the stands at a University of Minnesota Gophers’ football game. Smell the popcorn and the hot dogs, feel the late-summer sun on your face.

 

Stepping Stones Early Learning Center is taking nutrition and healthy development to a new level by bringing local, farm-fresh fruits and veggies straight to their students.

 

Take in Woodbury’s beautiful trails and breathtaking scenery while working up a sweat at the 33rd annual Woodbury Country Mile, which features four races starting at a new and exciting location: Bielenberg Sports Center.

 

For 35 years, Woodbury Days has hosted a weekend of fun-filled activities, and this year will be no different. Between August 22 and 24, Ojibway Park will once again be a destination for people of all ages.
