Friends Fest

Join the Woodbury Community Foundation (WCF) for the annual Friends Fest fundraising event.

This year, the festival is taking place at John P. Furber Farm in Cottage Grove, where the theme will be Flashback Friday. Jodi Ritacca, WCF chair on the board of directors, says, “Our event will have great food, awesome online auction items, fun and raise money for our amazing community of Woodbury.”

New Life Academy Gala & Auction in Woodbury

Now in its 18th year, the Gala and Auction (set for April 5) is New Life Academy’s largest fundraising event. “The primary goal is to celebrate and foster community among New Life families and friends of the academy,” director of annual giving Michelle Rogers says. The festivities include live and silent auctions and a dinner featuring a patriotic theme. Bid on top prizes such as a seven–night trip to Hawaii, a jersey autographed by Minnesota Twins star Joe Mauer and an iPad.

Mark Crea Breakfasts with Woodbury

At first glance, it might appear that Mark Crea, executive director and CEO of Feed My Starving Children, and Minnesota Timberwolves president Chris Wright have nothing in common. Woodbury Hosts 10th Annual Open Your Heart Gala

For the 10th year running, Woodbury is supporting the Children’s Hospitals and Clinics in fashionable flair. The Open Your Heart Gala features a cash bar, dinner, and silent and live auctions led by master emcee Eric Rislove. The night’s main event, the fashion review, showcases spring’s hottest trends and styles from local shops; Woodbury men and women strut the catwalk to raise funds for the Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) Woodbury Guild. Woodbury Hosts Cold Catfish Cup Winter Bike Race

Now in its third year, the Carver Lake Cold Catfish Cup Winter Bike Race hopes to be bigger than ever. The January 19 race includes three difficulty levels along Carver Lake’s icy trails: an 18-mile advanced course, a 12-mile intermediate course and a five-mile unicycle course.
