Strap on your snowshoes or lace up your hiking boots for a peaceful nighttime hike that’s all aglow. Maplewood Nature Center hosts this popular hike along its luminary trail—and, weather permitting, hikers can also learn how to make ice holes to observe what’s happening below, and enter to win an ice globe luminary kit to take home. For ages 5 and up.
Walk on some candlelit trails with snowshoes or regular shoes! Hot chocolate and bonfires will be wonderful ways to warm up along the trails. Food trucks will also be in attendance and will have hot dogs available for purchase. All ages. Read more about Trails by Candlelight: Thompson County Park

For more than 30 years on Thanksgiving Eve, the Woodbury Area Clergy Organization (WACO) has hosted a service that brings together many different Christian denominations and expressions. There are readings from scripture, songs of thanksgiving, a message for adults, a time for children, and prayers. The hour-long service is a joyous celebration of unity—a great opportunity for people of many backgrounds to give thanks to God for all that He has given us.
