Maplewood Nature Center hosts this popular hike along its luminary trail—and, weather permitting, hikers can also learn how to make ice holes to observe what’s happening below, and enter to win an ice globe luminary kit to take home. For ages 5 and up.

Travels With My Aunt draws on vignettes, real life stories to illustrate proficiency, physical coordination, and recognition/recall of familiar situations, to provide those caring for, living with and loving someone with Dementia with the tools for productive communication and positive interaction. Woodbury Community Thanksgiving Worship

For more than 30 years on Thanksgiving Eve, the Woodbury Area Clergy Organization (WACO) has hosted a service that brings together many different Christian denominations and expressions. There are readings from scripture, songs of thanksgiving, a message for adults, a time for children, and prayers. The hour-long service is a joyous celebration of unity—a great opportunity for people of many backgrounds to give thanks to God for all that He has given us. Meet a snake and salamander, and learn where Minnesota’s wild reptiles and amphibians go in the winter. You can share your stories about real wild animal encounters, if you choose! Try a wild animal craft to take home too!
